Pembukaan Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Bagi Mahasiswa Baru (PKKMB) 2018 Universitas Wiraraja yang di laksanakan pada hari Senin, 27 Agustus 2018 dengan tema “MEMBANGUN KARAKTER MAHASISWA SEBAGAI AGEN BUDAYA MELALUI KARYA YANG BERSINERGI” bertempat di kampus cemara Universitas wiraraja sumenep.
Dihadiri oleh PJS REKTOR, Pembantu Rerktor I, Pembantu Rerktor III, Dekan Fakultas serta Kepala Biro dan jajarannya, Panitia PKKMB serta diikuti 817 Mahasiswa baru Universitas Wiraraja. Pmbukaan PKKMB 2018 di awali dengan pemukulan gong, pelepasan balon oleh 817 mahasiswa baru dan penurunan retling PKKMB oleh UKM MAPALA WIRASTA. PKKMB kali ini juga dimeriahkan oleh marcing band wiraraja dan parade para dari setiap Unit Kegiatan Mahasiswa (UKM), tidak kalah menariknya juga penurunan retling PKKMB oleh UKM Mapala dan penampilan mahasiswa baru.
“Aelamat datang untuk 1038 mahasiswa baru di universitas wiraraja dan saya berharap untuk para mahasiswa benar benar mengikuti study dengan baik, dan bisa mengikuti pkkmb dengan baik dan lulus tepat waktu” ujar Bapak Kurniadi Ketua Umum Yayasan Arya Wiraraja.
Sementara itu, Sjaifurrachman PJS Rektor juga menyampaikan selamat kepada para mahasiswa baru yang telah melampaui persaingan untuk meraih tempat di universitas wiraraja . presiden mahasiswapun berharap, “Saya berharap agar para mahasiswa baru diuniversitas wiraraja menjadi agen of cange disaat dan masa yang akan mendatang” tegas Anas Presma Universitas Wiraraja.
Selanjutnya selama tiga hari kedepan akan diadakan kegiatan berupa aksi nyata dari 817 mahasiswa baru yakni penanaman pohon, pendonoran darah dan menciptakan budaya bersih di kali marengan. (uul/glh)
